In the capacity as CEO Morten Kristensen (48) takes responsibility for the management of the consultancy firm and lab for change – Enactlab.
The new CEO has a long and acclaimed career with strategy and management in the communications industry. The Chairman of the Board, Mr. Morten Nielsen, has this to say:
– In Morten we have found a director who can add experience from the business sector and who has specialized in communications. He can move effortlessly in the intersection of business, culture and activism.
It is part of the future strategy of Enactlab to be in the forefront of what we call Corporate Activism, where firms take responsibility for solving the challenges facing society. In this context we see Morten as a strong asset together with the rest of the team.
Finding possible actions for others
In the intersection between science, research and activism Morten Kristensen believes that Enactlab has a unique platform which will enable it to create some necessary changes in society:
– As new CEO I will endeavor to give Enactlab an even stronger platform to provide a new scope for action and create actions for the companies, organizations and people who we work with – e.g. diversity and inclusion in the labour market.
He points out that private companies have a social responsibility – and that they cannot just leave real action up to other partners.
Companies have in fact a fantastic possibility of taking the lead in these changes if they are able to mobilize their employees, stakeholders and collaborators. The point is that it is actually profitable on the bottom line if you take responsibility and implement actions, Morten Kristensen concludes.
Morten Kristensen will become a partner in Enactlab with existing partners in the cognitive scientist and Head of Research in Enactlab, Kristian Martiny and journalist and Head of Communication in Enactlab, Jacob Nossell.
